Saul “Canelo” Alvarez fights Christian M’Bil for the WBC super middleweight title on Saturday night (October 31, 2026) at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh. The event is billed as “Mexico vs. The World” for what is believed to be a top international bout against several prominent Mexican boxers.
Watch Canelo and M’bill face off here.
“He’s old now, but still very dangerous,” said M’billi. “He’s got very good power and a very good counter. I think this is the best time for me for this fight. His power is going down a little bit, but he’s still dangerous. Five years ago he was on another level. But now he’s down a little bit, I think. But he’s still very, very dangerous. I’m hungrier than him. I think that’s the difference between us.”
Something tells me that’s not the only difference.
“They say I’m old and this and that, but they see, Canelo said. “I don’t have anything to prove to anybody. I just love the sport of boxing. I know I have more to do. Every time I step into the ring, I’m breaking a record. That’s what keeps me motivated.”
