Bayley made a surprise return to WWE about this past week”WWE Raw:,” charges at her nemesis Lyra Valkyrie, a move that bully Rey didn’t see coming.
The former WWE Women’s Champion appeared in the ring during Valkyria’s match against Sol Ruca and Maxine Dupree in a qualifying match for the Women’s Money in the Bank match. Bayley took the referee out of the ring to stop Valkyrie from winning, and later attacked her. Ray said:Destroyed gap” that the return came out of nowhere and said he wished Bayley or WWE would have informed the fans about her return.
“I think so (I was surprised by her return) because it was just out of place and I think with Bayley and the fans that she has behind her, I would kind of hint that we might see Bayley last night. Maybe Bailey could say on social media that I’m going where they were last night. Maybe they could tell Bailey.
Rey said that the reason why she would have wanted WWE to promote Bayley’s appearance on the show was because of where the show was held, claiming that the crowd might not have been right for her return.
“I say because of where they were last night, you can tell people are excited, it’s like they weren’t very excited last night,” he said.
The WWE Hall of Fame thinks it would have made more sense for Bayley to return at Money in the Bank PLE, interfere in the women’s match, and cost Valkyrie a match. Some speculated that Bailey’s absence was due to his contract expiring conflicting reports is now being revealed about his WWE contract and the future of the promotion.
