The Bucks signed the center Jake Stevensteam reported in the press release. Details of the deal have not been released, but it is believed to be a non-guaranteed training camp deal that includes Exhibition 10 language.
Stevens, 26, came out of Chattanooga undrafted in 2023 and spent a year in the G League with the Stockton Kings and Capital City Go-Go’s before spending the last two seasons overseas. He featured in Spain and Serbia in the 2024/25 season before moving to KK Split in Croatia in the 25/26 season.
In 61 games with KK Split last season in the Croatian domestic league and the Adriatic League, the 6’11” big man averaged 9.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 16.1 minutes per contest.
While there’s a chance Stevens could get a chance to compete for a two-way spot in training camp and the preseason, it seems more likely he’ll be waived well before opening night to join the Wisconsin Herd, Milwaukee’s G League affiliate. His Exhibit 10 contract would put him in line for a bonus of up to $91,000 if he spends at least 60 days in the NBAGL.
The Bucks are now at a full 21-man roster for the offseason, with 17 players under standard contracts (16 guaranteed), a pair of two players and John Butler and Stevens on the 10-trade show.
