No one in the NFL is as good as Bo Nix when it comes to pretending to be the best player imaginable. The king of football cheats rides on the back of creative offensive play and a brilliant Broncos defense to create the impression that the Knicks are better than average.
The Knicks are putting together a legendary season when it comes to futility. In six games, he is averaging 4.9 yards per attempt. Thursday night football His longest completion traveled 7.6 yards through the air. The Broncos QB was 0-for-3 on pass attempts longer than 10 yards, a passing record in a beach football game, let alone the NFL.
The Knicks’ 4.9 yards per game average is the lowest over six games in the last 20 years of NFL football. In the second half on Thursday, his average distance was behind the line. Learning the time-honored art of the handoff, there’s no directness to Denver’s offense, and the Knicks seem to have no interest in pushing the ball down the field even when the play calls for it. Instead, he sat in his pocket, cherry-picking easy receptions, and if the pass was even. at a distance Difficulty, he throws it. In six games, the Knicks have thrown him 15 times, putting him on pace for 43 this year. how It is not the result of pressure or thought that drops the ball, but fear and cowardice.
But there are still vocal football fans who believe Knicks is a great quarterback, for three reasons.
- Broncos fans who don’t want to accept that their team has to start the search again
- It’s useful information for fans who have been brainwashed into believing “QB wins”.
- Totally irrational fans of the Bo Knicks are no match for Tua Tagovailoa’s “Tuanon” team in Miami.
It’s frustrating because the Broncos are a team that is forced to present themselves as good simply because the Knicks have the ability to drag them down. It’s crazy for anyone who loves the game of football, and that’s what motivated Ryan Fitzpatrick to come out to the Knicks game after the game. Thursday night football.
“Beau Nix is not playing competitively. For the quarterback position, it’s almost a disgrace to how the football is played. First off, the guy doesn’t want to throw the ball, which is good. He’s throwing it to the flat, he’s throwing it back, but he’s not getting any confidence from the coach. He calls a screen play on 3rd and 8 and what does he do? Seattle gets the ball in a timeout and is even more competitive.” He got two chances when it happened.
Fitzgerald said he can only imagine how Sean Payton and Davis Webb feel as coaches, but the offensive line has to block the guy who refuses to even try and help them win games. It’s tough, but it’s fair — because Knicks is depriving his team of potential to be great and hurting his ability to find every pass catcher he’s forced to play with.
The Broncos are now 4-2 despite having the 28th-ranked passing offense in the NFL. They allow 20.8 points per game, good for 9th in the NFL – but score just 19.0 points, which ranks 26th. All of this is because Bo Nix is under center, creating zero opportunities for this team to succeed on offense and pulling everyone down to him.
The Knicks’ illustrious life will end this season, possibly in the playoffs, where teams get better, opposing teams rise to the occasion and at least need to step up to match them. We’ve seen this kind of jump in play from guys like Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, and Nick Foles — all of whom rose to the occasion and surpassed their abilities. Nix, well, he’d rather not even try.
