Things almost went awry at Friday’s UFC 332 ceremony weighing in on the stare down between Deiveson Figueiredo and Payton Talbott, but luckily cooler heads prevailed.
UFC 332 isn’t the strongest card of the year, but Saturday’s main event between Figueiredo and Talbott is one of the few bright spots. It’s a battle between a former UFC champion and one of the sport’s most promising prospects. Talbott is clearly the betting favorite this weekend, but Figueirdo looks to have some gas left in the tank.
During Friday’s UFC 332 ceremonial weigh-ins (repeat HERE), Figueiredo was excited for his last look with Talbott. The two wings have no real reason to hate each other, but it seems like something personal is going on. Perhaps Figueiredo feels this is his last chance to prove himself. In both cases, things got a little physical and almost went off the rails when they ran into each other.
