WWE’s next Premium Live Event will be one of the biggest of the calendar year as the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana hosts Money in the Bank on October 10th. Only five matches have been signed, and with the importance of some of the matchups on the card, this has naturally led to talk of which matchup will be the main event.

However, those plans quickly changed, and as things stand, WWE sources noted that WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Roman Reigns and LA Knight this weekend will be the main event.
If those plans hold until Saturday night, it will be the first time Reigns has headlined a Money in the Bank PLE since 2023, when he competed in The Bloodline Civil War tag team match, while it will be Knight’s first time hosting a Money in the Bank event and his first singles match since the PLE Main Event, when he won the PLE Main Event Reign to the CWE World Challenge. in 2023
The rest of the card will see the women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match featuring Roxanne Perez, Lesh Legend, Jacey Jane, Tiffany Stratton, Sol Ruka and Lola Wiese battling it out for the guaranteed world title. Stephanie Walker will defend the WWE Women’s World Championship against both Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan, while Oba Femi will go one-on-one with Bronson Reed.
