Over the past few years, WWE has found itself on WrestleMania duty for certain cities, including Indianapolis and New Orleans. The latter city in particular has reason to look forward to the show after WWE announced that WrestleMania 41 will take place in the city. only to change course months later and move the show to Las Vegas. Fortunately, WWE is willing to pay the debt for WrestleMania in New Orleans. unfortunately, that may still be a few years away. Fighting Select reports that the New Orleans Superdome is currently holding it from March 12 to April 21, 2029, a source says the hold was made in conjunction with WWE.
People close to the situation said that normal circumstances would dictate two weeks for events such as concerts, with that time being used to load equipment for the show. The longer time frame given to WWE here is believed to be due to the fact that it gives the promotion more time to hold two nights of WrestleMania dates, possibly within the said time window.
All of this suggests that WWE is planning to hold WrestleMania 45 at the Superdome in the spring of 2029, though there’s no hard confirmation that the event will take place in the city, and that doesn’t stop WWE from changing their minds and moving the show from New Orleans, as they did in 2025. Considering 2029 is still two and a half years away. WrestleMania 44 in 2028, though no such details have been provided. WrestleMania 43 will take place in Saudi Arabia This coming April, the first WrestleMania will take place outside of North America.
