Former NBA second round pick Antonio Reeves will continue his playing career abroad by signing a contract with KK Partizan, the Serbian team announced today (via Twitter).
The 47th pick in the 2024 draft out of Kentucky, Reaves played for the Pelicans as a rookie and then spent the 2025/26 season on a two-way contract with the Hornets, helping the Greensboro Swarm (Charlotte affiliate) win the G League title last spring.
Reaves, who turns 26 next month, played just 13.5 minutes per game in 54 games at the NBA level, averaging 6.1 points per contest and shooting 40.8 percent from three. The 6’5″ wing was also a constant threat from beyond the arc in the G League. In 35 games for the Swarm last season, he averaged 17.1 ppg and shot 38.7 percent on 7.7 three-pointers per game.
Reeves was in camp with the Timberwolves this fall on a non-guaranteed extension 10 contract, but was refused on Saturday when Minnesota made its cuts late in the preseason. Now he will play in Europe for the first time.
Reeves’ new team, based in Belgrade, is off to a 3-3 start in the EuroLeague this fall. In addition to Reeves, Guerrilla’s roster includes several former NBA players Dwarf Jones, Ethan Thompsonand Lamar Stevens.
