UFC Meta leaderboard has been updated since UFC Vegas 122 MMA event last weekend at UFC APEX in Las Vegas. Rising Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight Alice Pereira left her mark on the show (and on Darja Železnjakova’s forehead). He brutal ground-and-pound earned him a retirement TKO win.
With this win, she debuts at number twelfth in the UFC women’s bantamweight rankings. Železnjakova therefore leaves the list. Pereira, 20, is now the youngest woman to compete on the UFC’s official list. She will surpass Maycee Barber’s record to reach the chart in December 2019 at the age of 21.
Brendan Allen got a late submission end in the main event on Saturday Christian Leroy Duncan. That’s good enough to move him up one place to fourth. He is behind champion Sean Strickland behind Nassourdine Imavov, Dricus Du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev. He will go up at the expense of Joe Pyfer, who will fight Bo Nickal in December.
The biggest riser in the rankings was Loopy Godinez, who moved up three spots after a close decision over Ketlen Souza on Saturday.
