Alaric Jackson suspended 2 games for punching Bradley Chubb, per report

Following Monday night’s game between the two teams, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Alaric Jackson was suspended two games without pay for hitting Buffalo Bills pass rusher Bradley Chubb in Buffalo. New report from Aaron Wilson.

As the Bills beat the Rams by a final score of 37-34 in the chaotic game, players from both teams gathered at midfield for the customary handshake and jersey exchange after the game. Nearby, Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen was being interviewed. But in the middle, an exchange between Jackson and Chubb turned heated, and after Chubb first walked away from Jackson, a Rams offensive lineman tackled him and then quickly connected with Chubb in the jaw, seemingly out of nowhere.

You can see that moment here.

Jackson finished the jersey exchange and had a Bills jersey in hand when Chubb came down and the conversation escalated.

“It was a close game. And you know, they always catch the second guy, so I just let it swing and my teammates caught me and I just went cold.”

Monday night’s loss dropped the Rams to 2-3 on the season. The Los Angeles, Arizona Cardinals and Las Vegas Raiders will face off in the next two weeks of the season.

Jackson, who was suspended for two games by the NFL in 2024, was accused of violating the league’s personal conduct policy after he allegedly filmed a woman having sex without her consent. He was also arrested in June 2026 on suspicion of aggravated domestic violence and charged with “intentionally causing physical or bodily harm involving a person who causes ‘aggravation’ to an intimate partner.”

Ultimately, no criminal charges were filed and the case was placed in the pretrial detention program. Jackson was not suspended by the NFL due to a decision by the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.
