Considering he has almost forty years in the wrestling business, it would make sense that Dustin Rhodes would have enough stories to tell that he could write a book. Just a few days ago, a fan learned directly from Rhodes that not only was that the case, but that Rhodes had already written one and was in the process of writing another. Rhodes made the revelation on Friday when he went to X to confirm there will be a second book about his career. He also starred in the first book and WWE.
“(I) already (wrote a book),” Rhodes wrote on Twitter. “I’m in the middle of writing my second book. This will be much deeper throughout my career, ups and downs. Back to glory and do it my way. My hands were tied with the other company.”

The first book of Rhodes, “The Cross of Rhodes. Goldust, Out of the Darkness.” was released in 2010 when Rhodes was under contract with WWEwho also co-published the autobiography. At that time, Rhodes’ career seemed to be coming to an end, as he mainly worked as a producer. Instead, over the next sixteen years, Rhodes would enjoy a bit of a renaissance, winning the WWE Tag Team Championship twice with brother Cody Rhodes. The Ring of Honor World Tag Team Titles with Sammy Guevara, ROH Six Man Tag Team Titles with Marshall and Ross Von Erichand the AEW TNT Championship, which he won in his home state of Texas in 2025.
Rhodes was last seen on AEW last summer. when he lost the TNT Championship to Kyle Fletcher in a Chicago street fight. After the match, he would undergo double knee surgery, and he did expressed hope that he will be able to return to the ring by the end of 2025. Rhodes also sparked controversy earlier this year by responding to a tweet that many considered Islamophobic. he later deleted the post and apologized to fans and wrestlers, including TNA’s Mustafa Ali..
