Wrestling ratings have been on a slow decline for the last little while, though that changed earlier this week when viewership “TNA Influence” WWE SmackDown AEW Collision for the week of September 1st has all been finally accounted for. It was business as usual for TNA, while SmackDown saw some decent weekly growth. As for Collision, it was sandwiched between Impact and SmackDown. Wrestlenomics and: SpoilerTV: reports that September 5th edition of AEW’s Saturday Night Show drew 349K total viewers and a 0.06 in the coveted 18-49 demographic.
There wasn’t much change for “Collision” during the week, which saw a slight increase of 2% in total views compared to them. August 29 episodewhile 18-49 was off that week. The story was largely the same compared to the four-week average in 18-49 hold, while total views were down 11% from 392K.
The story of “Clash” continues year after year, especially with the general viewership. Compared to Q3 2025 and September 2025 numbers, Collision posted a strong 33% and 34%, respectively. The numbers weren’t quite as good year-over-year for 18-49, down 14% from Q3 2025’s 0.07. Compared to the September 2025 numbers, however, Collision’s rating remained at 0.06.
On the September 5 Clash, Andrade El Idolo defended his AEW National Championship against Gabe Kidd, after which the luchador announced that he would defend the title every week, waiting for the right moment to secure his guaranteed shot at the AEW World Championship. The show also featured the in-ring debut of the Motor City Machine Guns, with Alex Shelly and Chris Sabin defeating Blake Christian and The Swirl’s Lee Johnson.
