With fall upon us, it’s not long until AEW releases its annual final year tournament, the Continental Classic, for its fourth edition. But when C2 resumes this November, it will do so a little earlier than expected. On Monday afternoon at X, AEW announced that they will be kicking off 2026 C2 on November 18th as the action returns to Denver, Colorado for the ‘AEW Dynamite’ taping at the Mission Ballroom.

The C2 starting on November 18 will be the earliest the tournament has ever started in its short history, with the start of the previous C2 November 22, November 27and: November 26 respectively. One tradition that will continue is C2 starting Dynamite after AEW Full Gear in Phoenix, Arizona on November 14th. The date and location for AEW Worlds End, a late December PPV, has yet to be announced, it’s unclear if this means Worlds End will be moved earlier or Field C will be expanded sooner. the time between Full Gear and Worlds End.
Nov. 18’s Dynamite will also mark the second time AEW visits Denver’s Mission Ball in 2026, having previously; their February 25th edition of Dynamite outside the venue. Serving as one of the final stops on the AEW Revolution Road, the show featured one of the most popular Dynamite main events of the year, as Jack Perry and the Young Bucks teamed with Desmond Xavier, Myron Reed and Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz to defeat FTR and Bishop Kaunn, Ricochet and Demaman in a multi-match.
