AEW has found itself a new broadcast home in Japan as a new streaming deal begins later this year.
In An The official press release issued by All Elite Wrestling, Hulu Japan will be the exclusive home of all AEW programming starting in November 2026. The service will stream all episodes of AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision, as well as all of the company’s pay-per-views, starting with AEW Full Gear 2026, which takes place on November 14th.
News of this deal comes just a few weeks later AEW’s previous streaming deal in Japan with NJPW World ended on August 31st. The company’s weekly programs were phased out with the tape delay of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s official service, and the library of all previous television series was also removed when that deal expired. However, all previous installments of the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view have remained at NJPW World and will remain there despite the new deal with Hulu Japan. It is still unclear if the next Forbidden Doors pay-per-view will appear on both platforms due to NJPW’s involvement.
Fans in Japan were initially encouraged to sign up for MyAEW after the NJPW World deal was announced, but now that the new streaming service will carry AEW programming, it’s unclear what the future holds for the service in Japan, especially given that AEW’s tape library is not available on Hulu Japan.
This deal is the latest step AEW has taken when it comes to its international expansion, with the company inking a deal with; TOD by beIN to bring all of the company’s programming to the Middle East and North Africa in early September.
