El Hijo del Vikingo’s road to recovery has hit a hole.
It was Viking in July was injured while preparing for the match against EC Prosper. He tore the ACL in his left knee and successfully operated. At the time, his recovery was expected to take 6 to 8 months. Just last month, he gave an update on WWE Ahora, stating that his recovery is going well, but the doctors have urged him not to rush it.
On his Instagram, Vikingo shared a not so positive update. She posted a roundup of various photos of herself with her arms folded. When translated, the title reads: “Unfortunately Mr. HDLV will have another knee operation tomorrow, thank you all for your support.”
As of now, there is no clear date for his return. Vikingo has had a number of injuries and surgeries since 2024. That year he tore the meniscus in his right knee. After returning from that surgery, he was injured at a TNA taping a few months later. Two months later, he was injured during the PROGRESS match. Earlier this year, Vikingo was injured in AAA against Mini Vikingo.
