Last year at a WWE NXT live event in Cleveland, Ohio, AAA star Omos fought Oba Femi for the first time ever, but the crowd in attendance didn’t buy into the match as it ended in a No Contest. Omos and Femi haven’t been in the ring together since their first meeting, but the Nigerian giant has recently expressed interest in wrestling The Rule again, but this time on the big stage.
during the interview with Adrian Hernandez, Omos shared that if he had the chance to meet Femi again, he would love to fight The Destroyer at both of his personal dream venues.
“He’s a big guy. He did his job. He has conquered several beasts. He has achieved a lot. So I hope one day we can get it right back… I mean the big PLE in Africa, that would be great… or if that doesn’t happen, WrestleMania.”
Since their first match together, Femi has become one of the biggest stars in professional wrestling, especially beat Brock Lesnar twice and became 2026 King of the Ring winner all in the same year. Omos, on the other hand, has made a name for himself in AAA and has wrestled some of the best the brand has to offer, including Rey Mysterio, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and El Grande Americano. Now that Omos has begun to gain the attention of the Mexican audience, it remains to be seen if her goal of wrestling Femi again will come true in the near future.
