How to watch the Butterfield Bermuda Championship on Saturday
The fall season of the FedEx Cup represents an important trait for the players still looking to solidify their position for 2027, and a win this weekend could be life-changing for the tournament’s current co-leaders.
Japan’s 25-year-old Kensei Hirata is currently tied atop the leaderboard with 30-year-old American Chandler Blanchet at 13 under par. A win pushes Hirata from 176th in the FedEx Cup standings to 80th, while Chandler jumps from 114th to 56th.
But everyone in the camp needs to keep their foot on the gas pedal. Seventy-two players made the weekend cut at five under par, and 33 of those players are currently within five shots of Hirata and Blanchet.
The drama is sure to continue as the action continues on Saturday.
