Biltmore Championship Round 4 tee times: What to know
The first year of the Biltmore Championship saw low scores and two separate dream scenarios materialize.
But only one can be realized.
Twenty-five-year-old Neal Shipley struggled during his rookie season on the PGA Tour. He missed nine of his first 10 cuts and made just eight of 20 cuts overall. He did not place a top-25 finish and entered the FedEx Cup Fall at 183 in the FedEx Cup standings, facing a climb to enter the top 100 to keep his card.
But after three brilliant rounds, including a blistering 62 on Friday, Shipley enters Sunday’s final round with a lead, just 18 holes away from a two-year exemption and a spot on the Championship Series in 2028.
However, the man Shipley leads from one, Ben Kohles, is hoping to design a dream weekend of his own. Kohles, 36, chased down his first PGA Tour win in years but was unable to clear the final hurdle on Sunday. Kohles’ last opportunity to get his first PGA Tour win came at the John Deere Classic, where he led with one hole to play. but found water on the 72nd hole and finally lost to Chris Gotterup.
With tee times pushed back due to the storms, Shipley and Kohles will tee off in a trio with Eric Cole at 9:55 a.m. ET.
