How to watch the Bank of Utah Championship on Saturday
When the sun rises on Saturday at Black Desert Resort, the second round of the Bank of Utah Championship is not complete.
Darkness fell on Friday night with three players still running, so play was suspended. Those players will finish their round at 11 am ET Saturday morning. Once completed, the cut will be made and the tee times will be created. Third round times are expected to fall from 12:20-2:30 pm ET.
But we already know who will hold the lead in Saturday’s third round: Austin Smotherman.
The 32-year-old veteran has never won on the PGA Tourbut he has three Korn Ferry Tour wins to his name. Two of these victories came in the 2025 season, which allowed Smotherman playing in 22 PGA Tour events so far this year.
Smotherman earned his best result at the Cognizant Classic in Palm Beaches, where he finished T2. He could do one better this week with a career-changing win. He will start Round 3 at 17 under, a distance away from Kevin Roy.
