I have tried many golf shoes in my life. Dozen to dozen.
TRUE Linkswear released their best shoe of all time, Jordan gave us the Grind and I also wore … pointe shoes when the Apollo fur ended up on my desk.
A good golf shoe is your first line of defense when building the ideal golf setup. While the best general can be found here, there are shoes that do not make the list that can still be enjoyed.
When you’ve tried as many golf shoes as I have, you have to be picky. These are not the best shoes on the planet, but these are definitely the shoes I will buy again.
#3: Apollo Golf Coat
I haven’t gotten over my ego when it comes to the aesthetics of the Peluva Apollo golf shoes, but if we’re talking strictly about performance, the Peluva Apollo had to be on my list.
If you’re in a similar boat and can’t get over the toe-shoe look, I don’t blame you, but you might be missing out on a more comfortable walk.
What I loved about the Apollo Hair:
- Traction is above average. The traction pattern itself isn’t that impressive, but I’ve concluded that being closer to the ground and having the ability to use all of your toes improves traction overall.
- Comfort is king. The Peluva Apollo provides the best comfort I have ever experienced in a zero drop golf shoe. If you want a zero-drop shoe but have struggled to find a comfortable walk, the Peluva Apollo is worth a try.
What I didn’t love about the Apollo Hair:
- Waterproofing was poor. By round nine, my feet were wet.
- Since the Peluva Apollo is a minimalist shoe, you have less support than you would from traditional golf shoes.
- Very sweaty dogs. If you are okay with your feet sweating a ton throughout your round, ignore these results. If you’d rather not deal with sweaty, sticky feet, steer clear.
The Peluva Apollo isn’t for everyone, but it’s the best zero-drop golf shoe I’ve ever tried. Click on the link below to view the full performance review.
#2: TRUE Linkswear Antigravity

I will be the first to admit that there are many pitfalls in the TRUE line of golf shoes. The brand has almost everything figured out except traction, but it doesn’t seem to be doing that part well. The Antigravity falls into that category while the Antigravity Pro features some of TRUE’s best traction offerings.
What I loved about Antigravity:
- The Antigravity features a PEBAX midsole that provides a much more efficient energy return, resulting in a bouncier ride. I feel like I’m wearing a pair of premium basketball shoes.
- The toe box is wide but not too wide.
- Premium breathability. If your feet sweat on the course and you can’t stand it, the Antigravity is the shoe for you.
What I didn’t love about Antigravity:
- The traction. Antigravity is below average while Antigravity Pro is solid.
- Fatigue from heel strike. If you are a heel striker, you may notice some fatigue after walking the course.
The Antigravity isn’t perfect, but it is the best spikeless golf shoe that TRUE Linkswear has ever made. Click on the link below to view the full performance review.
#1: NIKE Pegasus 1
My favorite shoe of 2026 is the NIKE Pegasus 1.
NIKE was almost out of the game for a while, but it really turned up the heat with the Vittoria Pro 4, him Victory Tour 4 and now the Pegasus 1.
What I loved about the Pegasus 1:
- The traction is sensational. Of all the golf shoes I’ve tried in 2026, the Pegasus 1 has some of the best.
- Its price of $170 is unbelievable. When you take a look at the market for spiked golf shoes, $170 is a steal for a top performer.
- Comfort is above average. There is nothing too special about the comfort configuration, but a mixture of Cushlon and ReactX creates a comfortable walk with increased energy return.
What I didn’t love about Pegasus 1:
- The Pegasus 1 is rigid. The shoe is less malleable which can be a big fault for some golfers. If you are looking for a more flexible form of stability, the Pegasus 1 will fight.
- The fit was good, but there was a little slipping of the heel. If you’re prone to heel slippage or don’t like it, it’s worth considering before covering a pair of Pegasus 1s.
I would recommend the NIKE Pegasus 1 to golfers of all skill levels and I trust the name of my favorite shoe that I tried in 2026. Click the link below to see the full performance review.
The place You will probably judge my golf shoe choices, but I would buy these three again appeared first MyGolfSpy.
