Pro wrestling fans have been left confused this week following the surprise return of wrestling legend Sting to AEW, who returned to the ring to tell his fans about the possibilities of reverse mortgages.
Sting (real name Gordon Sumner) shocked onlookers when he appeared, seemingly materializing out of thin air, to tell fans of his generation that they could turn some of their equity into cash.
“I wouldn’t recommend something I don’t believe in,” Sting told the audience, which has grown over the decades from young fans to empty-nesters.
Sting, 77, says he got back into the ring because he wanted to wrestle in front of his great grandchildren.
