Real Madrid travel to Mestalla tonight knowing that a win over Valencia would tie them on points Barcelona at the top of the League.
Jose Mourinho’s side have won their last seven games in all competitions, including four league games in a row, to put themselves firmly back in the title race.
Madrid sit third in the table with 27 points from 11 games, three behind Barcelona, and arrive in Valencia on the back of a dramatic 3-2 Champions League win over AEK Athens on Wednesday.
Valencia, meanwhile, have endured a difficult start to the season with Javier Aguirre and start the weekend 19 in La Liga.
The Che have collected just nine points from their first 11 games, winning twice and scoring just eight goals.
However, they claimed a much-needed 1-0 win at Elche last weekend, with Umar Sadiq scoring the only goal to end a five-game winless streak.
