“Money Moicano” returns to the Octagon this weekend with a 12 fight card that is now official
UFC Vegas 123 considerations.
In the five-round main event Renato Carneiro faces the rising star Tom Nolan. Both lightweights had no weight issues. All the other fighters on the card successfully made weight except Francis Marshallwho came in two pounds heavier in his featherweight fight Dakota Hope. Marshall will be fined a percentage of the purse.
Carneiro (21-7-1) is coming off a dominant promotion win
Chris Duncan. It was the Brazilian’s first win since 2024. The veteran, now 37, is looking to prove he’s still a contender, not just an elite goaltender. “Moicano” stepped in at 156 pounds.
Nolan (11-1) is looking to knock off a UFC mainstay and take on the big names in the division. “The Big Train” has won five in a row since his first fight in early 2024. The Australian’s biggest win to date came against. Price Ziamwhom he defeated by unanimous decision earlier this year. The 26-year-old weighed in at 155.5 pounds in his first UFC main event.
UFC Vegas 123 will be streamed in its entirety via Paramount+. Prelims begin at 5:00 PM ET/2:00 PM PT, while the main card begins at 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT.
