Raul Rosas Jr. and Raoni’s Barcelos both gained weight without any problems. All other fighters also made weight, incl Cedric Dumas‘ against late notice Luis Hernandez. The card moves forward with 12 fights.
This is a pivotal fight in the career of Rosas Jr. (12-1). The 21-year-old is coming off the biggest win of his career after the knock Rob Font through a decision. Now, “El Nino Problema” is trying to move from prospect to contender with another win. The California fighter officially weighed in at 136 pounds for his first main event.
Barcelos (22-5) is 18 years older than his opponent. The Brazilian is on a five-game winning streak and the major victories are over Ricky Simon, Cody Garbrandt, Payton Talbott and Montel Jackson on his record. The 39-year-old weighed in at 135 pounds and is looking to use his experience advantage.
UFC Vegas 121 will be streamed in its entirety via Paramount+. Prelims begin at 3:00 PM ET/12 PM PT, while the main card begins at 6:00 PM ET/3:00 PM PT.
