Tony Ferguson’s next fight brings ‘El Cucuy’ back to Miami


Tony Ferguson will return to the boxing ring later this month.

the interim champion will face former pro football player Kenzo Biyong in a five-round boxing match on September 26 at the James L. Knight Center in Miami.

Ferguson meets former professional footballer Kenzo Biyong Henry Cejudo vs “Deen The Great” at Misfits Boxing.

Ferguson is 2-0 under the Misfits banner with one pro win and one exhibition win. His last boxing appearance was in December when he defeated Warren Spencer by unanimous decision. Ferguson has also competed in wrestling since then, losing Arman Tsarukyan by technical fall on Real American Freestyle.

Biyong, 28, will make his striking debut against Ferguson, although he has previous experience in combat sports. He competed at UFC BJJ 7 in April where Raphael Ferreira he submitted.

The event is headlined by Cejudo vs. Nurideen Shabazz, also known as “Deen the Great”. Heavyweight match between Chase DeMoore and Plinio Cruzone Alex Pereira‘s coaches, are also planned.
