Tommaso Ciampa has only been in AEW for less than a year, but The Psycho Assassin has made a huge impact since his arrival in January.
He won the AEW TNT Championship, has challenged for numerous other titles and appeared on some of the biggest cards in AEW this year, but one thing he’s very happy about since jumping ship from WWE is that he and his family are happy. during a recent interview with SBNation:Ciampa explained why moving from WWE to AEW at the beginning of the year was something that opened up new opportunities for his family, particularly his daughter Willow.
“So many times we’ve traveled together: London, Scotland, Montreal. I hope to take them to Mexico next time, or even France, because it was so good there too. We used to travel a lot. Willow and my wife came to Chicago and she had her big moment on screen with Okada. There are many things that would have happened if we had moved to the last months10. Looking back on it all, it’s incredible to think about the experiences we all got, especially Willow, because what I do these days is just a blessing.
The AEW production team went the extra mile to accommodate the Ciampa family at AEW All Out 2026. Not only were his wife and daughter ringside during the match against Kazuchika Okada, but before the event began, Willow got her own special entrance to celebrate his birthday by completing his dad’s current entrance music before moving on to a rendition of “Happy Birthday”.
