With another win in the bank on Mondaywe turn our attention to the Champions League for today’s Tip.
We focus on the match between Metropolitano Atlético de Madrid i Manchester United.
United are struggling and Tottenham should have been put to the sword on Saturday evening just for the visitors to leave their shooting boots in north London.
We don’t think Atlético is that charitable.
The hosts have an up-tempo, in-your-face style that will unsettle a United side that the stats show doesn’t work as well as most other teams.
In midfield, Youri Tielemans looked sluggish against Spurs and may find himself wanting again against an energetic midfield that will include the combative Giuliano Simeone.
Simeone Jr will be instructed by his father Diego to get under United’s skin, a task that seems to come naturally to the Argentina international. His presence means we also want both sides to get at least one yellow card.
Tuesday Tip (odds are from bet365 and correct as of 9am on Tuesday 13 October)
Atlético de Madrid beat Manchester United on 11/10
Youri Tielemans to commit 1+ foul at 1/2
Both teams will receive cards @ 1/3
Combined odds of 11/4
