Ahead of another fun-filled Saturday of quality racing, the Weekend Winners team discussed their best bets for the Feature Handicap.

“I’m going to side with the five-year-old The hand of God who was second only to the disabled Raamee. Don’t fear the horses towards the top of the handicap in this classy race that has come to the fore in recent years.
“He looks like he’s enjoying his race at the last minute, having been a bit cold last year. This nine-furlong distance is perfect for him as they go a lot. I think he’s a good bet at a double-digit price.”

“This race sees the return of Tracey’s Trends, this race shows you should be a four-year-old, rated 102-109 and drawn down. The horse that comes out on top with these is the Alan King-trained Alcarath.
“He wears the cheekbones for the first time and you need an outstanding runner in this style of racing with last year’s winners. The draw has changed completely in recent years and the favorites in the race have been drawn badly.”

“I don’t match any of Kate’s tendencies and I’m grasping at straws in this competitive handicap. The pace show has spread across the field and wanted a horse to be in front. Landed on Spanish Voice who loves the course and the distance.
“He has been loved for starts on the ground but a little disappointed of late, but this trip should be in his ability and I think he could go very well for Oisin Murphy, who is looking to get Billy back to the Jockeys’ title.”
