Next weekend, Steve Borden will appear alongside Darby Allyn at AEW All Out.
Becoming a more permanent fixture in Allin’s TNT title match against Kevin Knight at Allin, helping him win the title, Borden went on to make his full AEW in-ring debut alongside him last week against the Don Callis Family’s Josh Alexander and Mark Davis.
This week, Borden appeared alongside Allyn and reigning Tag Team Champions Adam Copeland and Christian Cage against FTR and DCF’s Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher. They were victorious again, and it was then announced that Knight and Fletcher would face Borden and Allyn again.
The match is billed as Borden’s pay-per-view debut and could impact the label’s larger headline picture. Copeland and Cage will defend their titles in a three-way TLC match against the Young Bucks and FTR on the same night, and prior to this week’s eight-man contest, Fletcher and Knight have hinted that they want to challenge for the titles.
