UFC 333 is just over a month away, but the fighters still took the stage earlier tonight (Friday, September 18, 2026) for a pre-fight press conference on YouTube in Los Angeles, California, giving fight fans an early look at some of the best matchups for the rest of the year.
The goal is a main event clash between reigning UFC featherweight champion Aleksandr Volkanovks and undefeated challenger Movsar Evloyev, who has been waiting years for his chance to fight for UFC gold. Adding to the mix is a co-main trilogy fight between UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan and former division king Merab Dvalishvili. Yan won their highly anticipated rematch at UFC 323 and reclaimed the 135-pound title.
On Friday, all four fighters joined UFC 333 for the first pre-fight press conference. After the event ended, they were brought on stage to meet. While the overall gathering was cordial, it gave fight fans a glimpse into each matchup with eight weeks to go until the action gets underway in the Octagon.
