Silva Vs. Cong Main Events UFC 332 After Shevchenko Stripped Of Title

A women’s flyweight title fight headlines UFC 332 on Oct. 3 live on CBS and Paramount+ from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, as reigning champions Natalia Silva and Wang Cong bid for the vacant belt.

Silva, 29, has been on an absolute tear since stepping up in 2022. The Brazilian contender has a perfect 8-0 record in the Octagon, with wins over former UFC champions such as Rose Namajunas, Alexa Grasso and Jessica Andrade. Silva has long earned this opportunity and was originally booked to face Shevchenko in the co-main event. Overall, he is riding a 14-fight MMA winning streak and should be the betting favorite to top the UFC 332 main card.

Cong, 34, has won her last four trips to the Octagon since coughing up her only MMA loss to Gabriella Fernandes in 2024. Overall, the former kickboxing standout is 10-1 in his pro WC career and continues to improve inside the cage. There may still be some holes in Cong’s fight, but he should do well against a super fighter like Silva. In case you forgot, Cong is beating Shevchenko in kickboxing until 2015.
