Scotland Interim head coach Dave Butcher has made four changes to his starting XV to host Australia in Edinburgh.
Two of these changes apply. A wrist injury ruled Emma Wassell out of the back row for 10 weeks, meaning Sarah Bonar was parachuted into the second row to partner Holland Bogan.
With Rachel Philipps sidelined with concussion, Evie Wills has been placed in the center to partner Meryl Smith. There is also a place for Hannah Ramsay, who after coming off the bench is against Canada and New Zealand, starts at fullback ahead of Chloe Rollie.
Rachel McLachlan has been named in the back row alongside team captain Rachel Malcolm and No 8 Evie Gallagher.
Elsewhere, Ceitidh Ainsworth retains his place at scrum-half to partner vice-captain Helen Nelson. The front row is also unchanged, with Anne Young and Elliann Clarke for props, while hooker Lana Skeldon won her 90th cap.
This weekend’s clash will be the first of three meetings between Scotland and the Wallaroos. In October, the teams will meet two more teams Down Under. Both sides are looking for their first wins WXV Global Series 2026
