Ryan Garcia Lauds Dana White, Zuffa Boxing For ‘Impressive’ Event

Dana White and company knocked it out of the park last night (Saturday, September 13, 2026). “Ryan Garcia vs. Conor Benn” Live via Paramount+ from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Zuffa Boxing’s impact on the sport.

Saturday’s boxing event was important in more ways than one. Not only was this Garcia’s chance to prove he is one of the new faces of boxing, but it was also White’s chance to show what Zuffa Boxing can do when it runs the show. From the fight week festivities to the overall production, Zuffa Boxing seemed to hit a home run. The fact that Garcia gave his end a second round TKO over Benn was just icing on the cake.

When Zuffa Boxing first came out, some of the biggest boxing promoters in the world were concerned. Not just because Zuffa Boxing may be ending stepping on your toes financiallybut also because they didn’t know how White and company were promoting each event. White has a track record in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and putting on some of the wildest events in combat sports history, but the verdict was still out.

On Saturday, those concerns were put to rest. The “Garcia vs. Benn” undercard went down without a hitch and offered a pace that most boxing cards can’t keep up with. The media packages were in place, the commentary was thoughtful and the crowd ate up every second. Even Garcia was impressed by White and Zuffa Boxing when the dust settled on his main event showdown with Benn.

“I was very, very impressed,” Garcia said in the post-fight press conference. “I think they did one of the best jobs coordinating things and making sure everything was regulated. I like their process.

“I know I sound like icing, but I’m just telling you the truth. They were on top of everything. The media. The way they’re promoting. Just really great stuff. Let’s just say I’m very impressed.”
