While WWE’s Roxanne Perez had Success as a tag team wrestler during his prime tenurehe has yet to have a definitive moment as a singles wrestler. But everything could change if he got his wish competing against part-time WWE star AJ Lee. in an interview with “MuscleManMalcolm” Perez was asked about Lee wanting to return to WWE to do “something new” and if Perez could be that new opponent. Perez not only welcomed being Lee’s next challenger, but also expressed that he would like to be Lee’s last challenger.
“Yes, 100 percent,” said Peres. “I would like to wrestle AJ Lee and I would like to retire Miss AJ Lee. I’d like to retire him.”
Perez also revealed that he wouldn’t mind retiring Lee as soon as possible, despite Malcolm’s request to wait a bit, and also wondered where Lee went after her loss to Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 42 earlier this year.
“Where is he?” Peres said. “Where is he? It’s obvious he doesn’t want to be here. So if he wants to come one more time, then I can actually give him an excuse not to be here, fine.”
A feud between Perez and Lee would be very fitting as Perez has made no secret of her crush on Lee and her husband CM Punk over the years. even going as far as recreating a photo of him meeting Lee as a child with the former Divas Champion when he returned to WWE last year. Despite their close relationship outside of the ring, Perez and Lee have yet to do anything in the ring together, as Lee’s return saw him primarily feud with Lynch while Perez remained associated with Judgment Day.
