Yanez enters the win column after his return to action with a knockout victory over the former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt in July, marking his second victory in the last three years.
Meanwhile, Diaz submitted Malcolm Wellmaker in his Octagon debut in May after earning a UFC contract
Dana White Candidate Series last year. He is riding a nine-game winning streak and has never stopped.
