Ultimate Fighting Championshipthe decision to match Brian Ortega against Dan Hooker.
Ortega and Hooker meet at
UFC Qatar November 21 at the ABHA Arena in Doha. Moicano, who has called out Hooker and twice stopped a rematch with Ortega, called their upcoming bout “the worst fight in the UFC.”

Moicano’s repeated calls to fight Hooker have not been reciprocated. Meanwhile, Ortega pulled out of his planned rematch at
UFC 326 due to lasting injuries. They were rebooked
UFC 331 in September, but Ortega withdrew again after suffering a severe cut above his eye.
Moicano remains open to facing either fighter, but his immediate focus is on his main event Tom Nolan at
UFC Vegas 123 on Saturday.
“This is going to be the worst fight in the UFC,” Moicano told Full Send MMA. “Brian Ortega vs. Dan Hooker, that’s fucked up. I don’t know how the UFC made that fight. But we’ll see, wait and see how they do. And see me beat Tom Nolan.”
Ortega (16-5, 1 NC) holds the win over Moicano (21-7-1) after giving the Brazilian a third-round guillotine choke in 2017. “T-City” will make his UFC lightweight debut against Hooker (24-15).
