Before Real Madrid-Inter

Real Madrid they will start their last Champions League campaign on Tuesday evening when they welcome Inter Milan at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Jose Mourinho will face his former club for the first time in the competition, 16 years after guiding Inter to European glory.

Madrid have won 17 of their last 19 Champions League openers, including each of their last five.

Inter will provide a major test, however, with the Italian side arriving in Madrid after a perfect start to their Serie A title defence.

However, they have lost their last four meetings with Los Blancos and have failed to score in each of the last three.

Their last win over Madrid came in 1998, meaning they will be looking to end a long wait for another win on Tuesday.
