In the fifth and final round, Rosas Jr. seemed to catch a second wind and executed his opponent’s takedown attempts. In the middle of the frame, Rosas Jr. made his inner journey. Barcelos crashed to the canvas and was immediately knocked out, appearing to land on the head during a takedown.

The official time for Round 5 was 1:38. Barcelos was immediately taken out of the cage to receive medical attention. Riding a six-fight winning streak, Rosas Jr. can continue his quest to become the youngest champion in UFC history. Paramount Brazil representative Vevy Rodrigues reported that Barcelos was alert and being checked out at a local hospital.

A co-main event was presented Norma Dumont and Ailin Perez
underweight in women. The pair made no secret of their dislike for each other at weigh-in, and when they finally met in the Octagon, they skipped the touch of a glove. However, the fight ultimately did not live up to expectations.

In the opening round, “Fiona” caught one of Dumont’s kicks and took down her opponent, working from inside the guard. Dumont (13-4, 9-4 UFC) seemed to find his rhythm in the second frame. The fight looked fairly even entering the 3rd round as the fighters spent most of their time working against the cage.

Bellator MMA veteran Christian Edwards (9-5, 1-1 UFC) bounced back from an underwhelming promotional debut that ended the DWCS Rodolfo Bellato (13-4-1, 1 NC; 2-2-1, 1 NC UFC) by knockout at 1:47 of Round 3 in their light heavyweight clash,

recorded his seventh career finish.

Brazilian lightweight Dwarves Brener (17-6, 4-3 UFC) had a three-fight stoppage over the Ohio Combat League veteran Josiah Harrell (11-2, 0-2 UFC) by strikes at 4:14 of the opening round,

recording his 10th career first-round shutout.

At low weight, Montel Jackson (16-4, 10-4 UFC) avenged a 2018 loss to the former Legacy Fighting Alliance champion Ricky Simon

In another 135-pound match, “The Mongolian Knight” Brain lobe (18-10-2, 6-3-1 UFC) defeated the former Combate Global Champion John Castaneda (21-9-1, 4-5-1 UFC) by split decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29).

The women’s strawweight opener featured the former Ultimate Warrior Challenge Mexico defending champion Yazmin Jauregui doesn’t follow anyone. Autodesk_new (12-2, 4-2 UFC) stopped the former LFA champion Vanessa Demopoulos (11-9, 5-6 UFC) with punches just 62 seconds into the fight,

handing their opponent their fourth straight loss.
