The Giants re-signed quarterback Jake Haener to the practice squad, the team announced Saturday.
Haener, 27, was removed from the active roster on Thursday.
JJ McCarthy and Jameis Winston remain on the 53-man roster at the position.
The Giants signed wide receiver Jalin Hyatt to fill the active roster spot. His only game action this season came against the Texans, when he played four offensive snaps and six on special teams.
The team also brought up Phil Mafah and outside linebacker Dawuane Smoot from the practice squad.
