September 30: Premier League takes the trophy to India’s biggest gaming festival.
GamingCon Bharat will be held on October 17-18 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, NESCO, Mumbai with over 20,000 gaming, sports and entertainment attendees.
The centerpiece is a Premier League Zone built around the trophy itself with a display of all 20 clubs’ home kits, a Hall of Fame experience and physical and virtual activations from EA SPORTS and other league partners.
In the evening it turns into a watch party. The live matches are broadcast on a big screen, supported by JioStar, the broadcaster of the league in India. Entry is via a PL Pass sold on the District app, and the first 1,000 purchasers receive a goody bag plus access to the festival and screenings.
“India has a significant and rapidly growing Premier League fan base and we are always looking for new and creative ways to bring the Premier League closer to our fans in India,” said Hrishikesh Shende, CEO of Premier League India.
“GamingCon Bharat places the Premier League at the confluence of football, gaming and entertainment in one space. Through the Premier League Zone, the Trophy, our interactive experiences and viewing parties, we want to create exciting new activations for people who may be discovering the League, while giving our loyal fans a unique experience.”
It is the latest push since the Premier League opened its office in Mumbai in 2025, following fan events, grassroots football and community work across the country.
