Following him retire from professional wrestling Last January, AJ Styles launched the Phenomenal Retro Podcast on YouTube, but just seven months later, his co-host Tony Giles announced that the show was officially over.
This past weekend, Giles took to social media to make the announcement and shared that all previous episodes with Styles will still be available despite the podcast’s rebranding.
“Hi guys, thanks for your support over the past 7 months. I had a great time producing the show, but unfortunately the show will no longer be active. Old episodes will still be available, but the channel isn’t going anywhere and will be rebranded soon. TG”.

Going forward, Giles will host “The Loose Cart Podcast” With John Riggs, a YouTube gaming content creator. In addition to talking about wrestling and his family, Styles often shares his passion for gaming on The Phenomenal Retro Podcast. Styles has not commented on the cancellation of the podcast at this time, but he seems committed to his other duties after retiring from the pro wrestling business. Along with The Phenomenal Retro Podcast, Styles has been work as a talent scout For WWE and assisted by his son, Avery Jones, in his journey to start a wrestling career.
At this year’s Royal Rumble, Styles was retired by Gunther, who had just finished the careers of John Cena and Goldberg the previous year. Many fans expected Styles to wait until WrestleMania 42 this past April to retire, but “The Phenomenal One” was content to hang up his boots at the concert hall. A premium live event where he made his WWE debut 10 years ago.
