Persephone rides high After his win at All In and now holds two titles, one in AEW and the other in CMLL, but the responsibility of carrying both has made life a bit hectic for him.
The 25-year-old star has been a key role in both AEW and the CMLL Mexican promotion, where she is the TBS Champion and CMLL World Women’s Champion. Holding two titles means he has to represent both companies, leading to a demanding travel schedule that has made it difficult for him to fully appreciate his title wins.
“It’s great (being a two-time champion), but I don’t think it’s completely settled. Like, I don’t think I’ve really sat down with it because this dual contract is fantastic, but it’s chaotic at the same time,” he said.Sportsmen“I landed Monday night (after All In) and wrestled at Arena Mexico on Tuesday and then flew out for Dynamite on Wednesday morning. I feel like I’m running from country to country, like company to company. So I don’t know that I’ve actually had time to really digest it and sit with it. I feel like I’m always running to the next event.”
Right after her match at All In, Persephone was unable to soak up the moment of winning the AEW TBS title as she was set to appear on the show alongside a returning Britt Baker.
“There’s not really much time to digest it because I remember I went down and it wasn’t a problem, like, let me rest, let me take my shoes off. I remember they said. “You and Britt will have a moment to say whatever you all want to say.” You know, because obviously it was Britt’s comeback,” he said.
The AEW TBS Champion finally got a chance to enjoy the moment, but it was short lived as she took an early morning flight to Mexico for a tag team match at Arena Mexico City.
