UFC night the event earned four fighters $100,000 worth of bonuses.
Naturally, the first $100k performance of the night bonus went to the winner of the main event Jean Silva. The Brazilian proved to be too much Jose Delgadowho touched
rear naked choke in the third round. It wasn’t the best outing for “The Lord” as he started the fight slowly, refusing to land punches at first. However, a strong finish remains for the UFC and the fans.
Another obvious bonus to give out was Sean Kingwho scored a spectacular knockout in the preliminaries. The featherweight pummeled his opponent Jessie Rosas on his head
secure a vicious KO. Just 22, the victory came just 36 seconds into his Octagon debut. King is now 7-0 as a pro and a prospect to watch.
Finally the night fight went Tommy McMillen and Marwan Rahiki. Both feathered went to war for 15 minutes. While McMillen (12-0) finally emerged with his arm raised and remained undefeated, he was significantly hurt in the second round. Rahiki (9-1) could never come forward even while eating “The Gun’s” best shots, so the $100,000 bonus will help ease the pain of his first professional loss.
