NFL fines Quinn Meinerz for posting notice of drug test after flattening Aaron Donald

During the Week 3 win over the Rams, Broncos kicker Quinn Meinerz Aaron Donald tackled in LA defense. Meinerz immediately received a notification for a drug test – and he posted it on social networks.

Unsurprisingly, the NFL has responded by disciplining Meinerz.

Via Parker Gabriel of the Denver Post, it was Meinerz is fined 15 thousand dollars for displaying the PED test notification. Gabriel adds that Meinerz is appealing the sentence.

The current policy is as clear as can be: “(A) Any recording or photographing of any stage of the collection process through any media (audio or visual), including but not limited to screenshots of test announcements, collector videos or the collection of a specimen, and sharing such information via any social media is prohibited. A player found in violation of such rule authorizing the processing of information and social media recording will be banned. be subject to a fine of $15,000.”

So did Meinerz. The negotiated terms of the PED policy prohibit it. The situation is as open and shut as it gets.
