Muhammad Mokaev explains why he believes he is the best flyweight in the world
When asked by Red Corner MMA if he considers himself the best 125-pounder in the world, Mokaev reiterated his earlier claims. The Dagestan-born Briton added that he will continue to win outside of the UFC after not being awarded a title shot by the main organization.
“I just know it,” Mokaev said. “I know they just didn’t give me a chance to get the belt. I’m going to continue to collect belts from all over the world and challenge these fighters.”
After leaving the UFC, he won
Brave CF flyweight championship before adding the ACBJJ title to his list of accolades. After defeating the latter, “The Punisher” sent a message to the UFC CEO Dana White.
“Dana said two years ago, ‘Become a champion somewhere else.’ I became Brave CF champion, ACBJJ champion, five fights, four finishes, I was busy and showed the world why I’m the best flyweight in the world,” Mokaev said in a video previously posted on social media.
