Three days remain in the MLB regular season schedule. Nine of the 14 teams have booked their place in the postseason with five spots up for grabs. But it’s never too early for predictions.
FOX Sports’ Dontrelle “D-Train” Willis and Eric Karros share their thoughts on how the 2026 MLB playoffs will play out.
Eric Karros’ American League
Body: Yankees
“The Yankees are going to roll because of their starter. It’s as good as anybody in the postseason.”
Karros: The Guardians
“Why would the Guardians move forward? Because of their attacks.”
Body: Yankees
“That’s a no-brainer there.”
Karros: The Guardians
Body: Yankees
“This is going to be a nightmare in a good way. Both ballclubs are going to have to rely on him. The Yankees have a little bit more. They’re moving on.”
Eric Karros National League
Karros: Parents
“The Padres are going to win. Why? Because they’re at home. That’s a game changer.”
Karros: Phillies
“I like that game for the Phillies just because of the start.”
Karros: Dodgers
The Dodgers are deeper than anyone.
Body: Brewers
“The brewery will continue because of their pitching, and their just so damn good.”
Karros: Dodgers
“Starting pitching for the Brewers, top 2, as good as any. But they’re not as deep as the Dodgers.”
Eric Karros World Series
Karros: Dodgers
“The Dodgers are going to win it again.”

American D-Train League
Dontrelle Willis: Yankees
“The base hits at the right time with Ben Rice, but this rotation will carry them.”
Willis: White Sox
“I like the White Sox with (Munetaka) Murakami and (Miguel) Vargas. I also like that three-headed monster with (Colston) Montgomery. That’s going to be a good fit for the Astros, and I think they’re going to be smart and not pitch Yordan Alvarez.”
Willis: Rays
“I think in this situation, the Rays will get past them.
Willis: The Guardians
Willis: Rays
“The athleticism and (Junior) Caminero will put (the Rays) over the top.”
National D-Train League
Willis: Puppies
“I like the Cubs defense and the way they get on base. They run the bases well and PCA is a monster.”
Willis: Brave
“Acuña Jr., that experienced offense, I think they’re going to put pressure on the Phillies offense. And I think they’re going to take it over to be able to advance.”
Willis: The Dodgers
“I think the Dodgers rotation and Mookie Betts is on fire, getting Shohei (Ohtani) back in that lineup. They’ll be able to advance.”
Willis: Brewers
Willis: The Dodgers
“The break, 1-4 of that rotation … they’re going to beat the Brewers.”
D-Train World Series
“Parade to LA again. I think it’s going to be a fun series, but the Dodgers and that rotation is going to overwhelm everybody.”
