Matt Hardy and Moose will be teaming up to take on Syx at TNA Destination X, as confirmed on Thursday night’s “TNA Impact.”
Moose opened the show with a promo reminding him that Hardy had told him he needed to get back to his best, continuing to match him as he said he was targeting Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw going forward.
This prompts them to come out and ambush him, which Hardy saves with a steel pipe in hand. Moose and Hardy later challenged Deination X backstage.
Jeff Hardy is out Following the Slaughterhouse Syx match between The Hardys and The Syx on last week’s show, which ended with Jeff hitting two axes while wearing a trash can over his head and torso.
Shaw’s storyline injury report stated that he suffered lacerations and a head injury and will be out indefinitely. Therefore, Matt will now team up with Moose for retribution. Moose was among the roster members attacked backstage during Syx’s debut weeks.
