France star Kylian Mbappé did not train with his teammates on Tuesday due to a bout of flu, the team said.
The French players have gathered in Clairefontaine, on the outskirts of Paris, for a training camp ahead of the Nations League matches.
France play away to Turkey on Friday and in Belgium next Monday before hosting Italy on October 2 and Belgium on October 5.
Mbappé, who won the 2018 World Cup with France, remains the team’s captain under new coach Zinédine Zidane.
This summer, the Real Madrid forward passed Lionel Messi for the most goals of all time at the World Cup (22).
