Ultimate Fighting Championship athletes still use banned substances.
A fan recently asked Green what it was like to fight Islam Makhachov compared to his other opponents. Green claimed that competing with Makhachov felt “different”. He says he knows the difference because he claims to have competed against many fighters who have a distinct strength advantage.

Green further claimed that top UFC fighters, including some champions, still use banned substances and have the money and knowledge to cover it up.
“Makhachov; I said I feel something different… Honestly, bro; I mean, I’ve messed with thousands of people. And this is the first time – or a couple of times – that I feel something, like when I go with guys who do drugs, ‘It feels like drugs.’ I felt the difference,” Green said Arnold Barboza Kick stream. “I went out with some other people, I’m not going to put their names out there because they’re somebody. When I say their names, they’re like, ‘Oh, you expose people.’ I should expose you for cheating. You know what I mean? There are moms in the UFC who still cheat, right? They still cheat. Those moms cheat; and they’re a lot of your title holders, there’s a lot of guys you didn’t know about it. But they have money to hide and they know what they are doing.
Makhachov fought Green in 2022, the last non-title fight before the Russian championship. Green entered the fight with less than two weeks notice, replacing Beneil Dariush. Makhachov dominated Green from the opening bell, taking him down and landing hard to secure a first-round finish.
Currently riding a four-game winning streak with three stops, Green (36-17-1) needs to fight Esteban Ribovics (16-3) at UFC 332 Oct. 3 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City.
