Tommaso Ciampa fought hard, but Kazuchika Okada remains the AEW International Champion after an epic battle. AEW All Out 2026.
The match quickly resumed after Ciampa went for a handshake, but Okada pulled away instead. Ciampa avoided two Rainmakers and Okada avoided a knee strike before rolling out of the ring to compose himself.
Ciampa dropped Okada with a lariat, then sent him back out of the ring before nailing him with a knee through the ropes. He hit another knee to Okada’s face with the champion on the commentary table. However, Ciampa talked Don Kallis too long and Okada recovered to take back control. The men fought on the ropes and Ciampa’s head clipped the top of the ring post, stunning him.
Okada beat his opponent at ringside in front of his wife and daughter. He asked Ciampa’s daughter, Willow, for a high-five but turned her over instead, but Willow surprised him with a double birdie of her own. The distraction allowed Ciampa to recover and he hit another knee on the champion. He sidestepped the Rainmaker back into the ring and then connected with the Angels Wings before Okada hit a dropkick and then an elbow drop.
Back on the ropes, Ciampa tried to drop Project Ciampa, but Okada blew his eyes. He found the screwdriver hidden in the post when Kallis distracted the referee. Ciampa connected with a leaping knee as Okada bounced off the ropes, knocking the screwdriver out of his hand. The pair traded counters and avoided each other’s big moves, and Ciampa finally landed a knee pad.
After Okada kicked out of the knee strike, Ciampa unleashed his own Rainmaker. Okada shocked Ciampa with a dropkick, then finally connected with the Rainmaker for the win.
